Cinema Throwdown is the only podcast featuring a showdown of cinematic proportions. Each week, hosts Jacob and Annie challenge each other to watch a movie and break it down in an endless movie watching struggle. This week, Annie makes Jacob watch the 2016 alien/linguistics/sci-fi sleeper hit Arrival. Jacob and Annie watched Arrival this week and this movie was neither polarizing or criticized harshly by the hosts. Although Jacob started off lukewarm, he found things to like and Annie always calls him out on his mind changing ways. The hosts get all high brow on time travel talk and Jacob pulls out a win with his version of an Arrival party.
