School students from a language background other than English (LBOTE) are "outperforming" their native English speaking peers in NAPLAN, according to the latest data. - 영어를 모국어로 하는 학생들보다 제2 외국어를 모국어로 하는 비영어권 출신 학생들이 2019 전국일제학력평가고사 즉 NAPLAN에서  전반적으로 더 뛰어난 성적을 거둔 것으로 분석됐다.
