Whenever I meet a "new to me" #indieauthor, I always ask why they jumped into the world of #Indiepublishing. I asked that question of #SanGriffin. Fast-forward fifteen years, and we have so many #self-published authors who are proudly writing about the Black experience. However, what struck me about San is that part of her inspiration came from her son. There is something so amazing about wanting to carve out a path that allows your children to feel a sense of pride in who they are. We all are unique and amazing in our own way.
