Miscellaneous

This week, I chatted with my friend and lead singer of The Unlikely Candidates, Kyle Morris, a band who had a really great year in 2019 with a fantastic single, "Novocaine" which spent some time as the number one song on the Billboard Alternative Airplay charts. The band was billed on some major festivals for 2020 like Bonnaroo, Hang Out Fest, and Firefly until the COVID-19 pandemic shut all of that down. We discuss what it's like for a band on the rise to be going through quarantine. They've been doing livestream concerts on Instagram and Facebook on Wednesdays, called "Flatten The Hump Day". We also talk about what he's reading during quarantine, a new song they just recently released called "High Low", that he recorded in his closet, and Kyle lets us know some bands he's listening to during quarantine as well.  RILED UP! with RILEY REED: ON MY RADAR PLAYLIST INSTAGRAM: @RILEUPPOD FACEBOOK: @RILEDUPPOD TWITTER: @RILEDUPPOD --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
