Having just recently been cleared to return to play, Fati now bears the weight of the #10 jersey. We discuss the pros and cons of Fati taking on this role. In similar news, the leaving of Griezmann left the #7 jersey which allowed Ousmane Dembele to take his old Dortmund jersey #7. The Breakdown also discusses Umtiti’s talks with Laporta in which he says he felt he hadn’t had the care he needed and wanted to prove his worth at Barcelona. Reports are Laporta wants Koeman to utilize Umtiti (as well as Puig) after these discussions. Speaking of Ronald Koeman, Pjanic who has just left to Besiktas, had some major criticism of the manager. He states that Koeman would not face him or come to practices for players who did not get game time. Suggesting a failure as manager to help his team improve. Lastly, reports have emerged claiming the Barca board has said Koeman is the ideal coach for Barca and will stay. A confusing statement for how the last season and this season have been going.
