My guest on the podcast today is Beccy Waters. Beccy took up road cycling in 2011 to keep fit during her recovery from a running injury. She started competing on the road in 2014 but after 5 years of 'medium' and lows in predominantly regional races, her dwindling love for racing coincided with her graduation from University and an upcoming internship in Nepal with UK charity Street Child. In order to raise funds for the charity, Beccy embarked on an epic adventure by riding solo from London to Kathmandu, Nepal. At only 21 years of age, Beccy achieved an incredible goal and her story is an inspiration to anyone who is thinking of pushing themselves out of their comfort zone and literally, into the unknown.
