This is my Father's Day message to all the men out there. You are a father if you have a son or daughter. But you are also a father as the Apostle Paul described as a father according to the gospel. If you are planting the seeds of the gospel in another life as you disciple someone else you are a spiritual father. I also want to address the tension we are experiencing from the great racial divide in our country and communities. I want to stress that man is incapable of reconciling these dark issues of racial discrimination and hate without the gospel. We were reconciled back into a relationship with God through the cross and the blood that was shed for our sins. Unless two individuals who are at odds with each other first reconcile their hearts with God there can be no reconciling with each other.Any efforts outside of God's provision through the gospel is all vanity. Man's sinful self-righteous heart will not allow him to fully reconcile without corrupting it with his selfishness. Men honor your Heavenly Father this Father's Day by becoming men of the gospel.
