Alex McLeish spent almost four years as Birmingham City manager and will go down in history as one of their most successful.
The Scot masterminded that wonderful win over Arsenal at Wembley to secure the Carling Cup, whilst he also oversaw promotion from the Championship and a ninth-placed finish in the Premier League. There were also two relegations before he shocked the Second City by crossing the divide to become Aston Villa manager in 2011.
With all that in mind - and the fact he worked under Carson Yeung - McLeish has quite the story to tell.
Alex Dicken sat down with the current Scotland manager to discuss his time at St Andrew’s.
He talks all of the above, and sheds some light on some of the characters in Blues’ dressing room during an exciting time in the club’s history. For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy
