When it comes to social, cultural, and political awareness--everyone needs to start somewhere. In order for us to get on board, believe in, support, and raise awareness of certain movements, it's really important that we understand what is being discussed. It’s important for us to feel welcome without the need to have a certain level of education.   In today’s episode, I’ll be breaking down common feminist vocabulary, what we mean when feminists use them, and how we can make this information and knowledge more inviting and accessible for everyone. I’ll also break down different types of feminism from white feminism, intersectional feminism, choice feminism, and more obscure terms like “terf” and “swerf” feminism.   Join me for this educational episode that’ll help you understand feminist vocabulary in order to show up and participate in crucial conversations.   Episode Highlights   Why it’s important to make feminist language more accessible What does the term “patriarchy” mean?
