C-Tru has always striven to help people and make a difference. Before becoming a rapper, singer, and songwriter, this living embodiment of the melting pot - born Carlo Ferrer Santos, he's Filipino, Chinese and Spanish - was a med student at UC Davis and worked for a Bio-tech company. But then he started turning heads in major music competitions. Now, after making his mark in the European music scene, C-Tru has brought his artistry back to the States, collaborating with icons such as Snoop Dogg and DMX.
