Kaizer Chiefs finally got to play their CAF group stage fixture against Wydad Casablanca but were left licking their wounds as the Moroccan giants thrashed Amakhosi 4-0. The result means that Chiefs’ winless streak has now stretched to eight matches, with their last victory having been their 3-0 victory over struggling TTM FC on January 18th. Amakhosi’s fans have expressed concern over their sides’ ability to manage the continental competition alongside their DStv Premiership campaign. In the latest episode of the SL Podcast’s “Fan Reaction Show”, supporters react to Chiefs and Sundowns’ performances over the weekend. One fan is quoted as saying “They shouldn't focus on the CAF Champions’ League but instead focus on the league” while another expressed over the club’s management stating “Whatever is going on behind closed doors at Kaizer Chiefs is big. We might not know what is going [on], but it is big.”
