Miscellaneous

Celtics fan hopes that the team would do something big once the NBA Playoffs roled around come next week may have evaporated over the last week and now Celtics fans might just have to start thinking about next season. On last weeks edition of Celtics Talk Radio the Celtics were sitting in sole possession of 6th place in the Eastern Conference 1 game ahead of the Miami Heat with 2 matchups against Miami coming up in the next week that could determine who would be the 6th and final team to get a top 6 seed in the Eastern Conference. Since that show things went as bad as any one could have imagined for the Celtics. As the Celtics not only lose both games to the Miami Heat giving the Heat the season series hence giving them the tiebreaker and locking them in as a top 6 seed but the Celtic also lost Jaylen Brown to a season ending injury which now makes it where the Celtics will have to go to the NBA's play in tournament knowing they will have to win a game against 1 of 4 different opponents without JAylen Browns services just to then earn the right to face either the Philadelphia 76ers or the Brooklyn Nets or the Milwaukee Bucks in round 1 of the NBA Playoffs and if the Celtics can not win 1 game then their season will end without seeing a best of 7 playoff series this season. We will be joined by Warren Shaw (@ShawSportsNBA on twitter) co-host of the NBA-Baseline Podcast. As we discuss what should be the reasonable expectations now that Jaylen Brown is out. Should we atleast expect the team to get out of the Play In Tournament or should fans be satisfied they atleast made it to the Play In Tournament. What about the season overall injuries has been the top problem should the team be cut some slack knowing they will go the entire season without having a single game without the entire roster available? What about the format of the Play In Tournament and when will the games be we will discuss that on this edition of Celtics Talk Radio
