Raised in a small town in Missouri of less than 900 people, with a high school football team of only 20, Coach Dan Kratzer reached the highest level of football as an athlete. Both as a player and a coach he would move from town to town and into the city life, all the while providing for and raising a family. This hall of fame coach proves, commitment to excellence, is a choice each individual can and should make. Life has a funny way of putting certain people in our lives at the right time and usually in the right place. Coach Kratzer learned how to build relationships and recruit, from some of football's giants. In doing so, he returned the favour to a multiplicity of players who would fall under leadership... one of which was myself. Life lessons, hardships and difficult decisions are all part of growing up, it is the example we learn from others and how we pass it on which becomes the defining moment of success... of greatness... and along the way, if you win a few championships, well that's the icing on the cake.
