Miscellaneous

1 College Basketball Coach, 3 High School Coaches talking about the game they love. Discussion around the docuseries “The Last Dance” MJ eliminated more 60 win teams than which of the best of the best players? How many NBA Finals series has Isaiah Thomas played in? How many did he win? How many did he lose? Why isn’t his name brought into the conversation of Greatest players ever? Did him and his teams style of play somewhat tarnish his legacy? Or is it a combination of not enough championships + the bad boys style of play? - What message can h.s. and college players take from this? Has this documentary showed what you anticipated about all the talks of “how it would make MJ look?” - example: there was talk about MJ saying people will look at him differently in a bad way after watching this documentary. They won’t understand. It’s hard to express nicely I wanted to win at all cost and I wanted everyone to raise to my level of competitiveness. - What does he mean by that? - With the quotes about rise to MJ’s level of competitiveness, does that help teammates? Especially when you mention the breakfast club? Comments and thoughts - Does Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant and others still have the same success in their careers if they did not play with Michael Jordan? And/Or if MJ did not open up his home for morning workouts and push those players to live in the gym like Scottie mentioned? - After they lost to the Pistons a second time in the ECF, 82 games already played, Conference playoffs series are played, facing the brutal series vs the Pistons, the TEAM didn’t go on vacation right after...they got back to work? How healthy was that?
