There's no doubt that free market principles deliver incredibly value to the consumer and to the ownership of the prevailing businesses. However, the consolidation of market power produces troubling realities with no easy solution. Amazon is an example of such market power, producing incredibly value for consumers, but reducing jobs and increasing difficulty for disruption. That doesn't need to be a bad thing, but it requires a frank discussion and a return to a familiar concept. Give me a few minutes.
