The simple fact is this: Nancy Pelosi – and all the people defending her – know that what she did was “wrong” and ill-advised. That said, to admit that they know that is never going to happen. Why not? Because there are no consequences whatsoever for the act in the first place. And when there are no consequences, there is no control over behavior.
