Could the 2021 Gator Bowl be canceled? As of now, that is an option. A&M football has not practiced since last Saturday for the Gator Bowl which is to be played on December 31 due to COVID 19 testing. A number of athletes had tested positive prior to the Aggies hitting the practice field on Sunday and then again both Monday and this morning. As of now, the team has been and is meeting virtually until today when players were to be released to go home until Dec. 26 ,when they were to make their way to Jacksonville for final bowl preparations.
