Born and raised in Hong Kong and following a career as a fashion writer and magazine editor, she eventually moved to London to pursue her dream of millinery. Having designed exquisite couture headpieces for Meghan Markle, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga amongst others, she gained her reputation and a loyal following of global icons. Most recently, Awon became Head Millinery Designer for Lock & Co, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious hat shops. We discuss where her love for fashion first came from, her inspirations behind each collection, the cultural heritage of millinery in Britain and the most memorable pieces she has designed!
