Whether you're opposed to phrases like the 'new normal', or you're optimistic about how the world will look after COVID-19, the world is going to be very different, at least for a while. Of particular interest is the shifting in tensions in the strategy and international relations world, which has been affected perhaps more than any other academic field as borders are closed and blame is thrown for lives and investments lost. Though COVID-19 is getting mainstream attention in almost every conceivable way, the international community is in need of more attention. In this episode of STRATEGIKON, we’ll be trying something a little risky technologically, we have guests from the United Kingdom, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Canberra, and we're still recording from Adelaide, Australia. We have experts in European International Relations and security, Australian security, the Horn of Africa, Ethiopian politics. and a former Australian Army Special Forces Brigadier. So, we’ll have quite a bit of security heft on hand to tackle today’s topic which is – COVID19’s transformation of the international security order. Joining us will be David Khandan; Austability Executive Director Strategy & Relationships, Sandy Wade; Austability Regional Strategic Advisor Horn of Africa, Don Randall Ambassador at Austability & Brigadier Mark Smethurst DSC, AM (Retd) Austability Strategy Advisor Asia Pacific Region.
