On March 26, 2020, Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll and Health Agent David Greenbaum provided an update to the City Council covering the current status of the COVID-19 outbreak as of that date, the process the local Health Department and healthcare providers take in responding to positive cases, the City's response from both a community resource and emergency management perspective, and the status of the Salem Public Schools system. The update also addressed common questions that people may have about the COVID-19 outbreak and what the City is doing.
