On the day that Bernie ended his Quixotic tilt at the U.S. Presidency, we take the opportunity to highlight some of the more glaring flaws with the American political system...but not with our own words. Instead, we have sourced quotes from the likes of Gore Vidal & Michael Parenti, to give real scope to the notion that the electoral system of the United States is totally dysfunctional. At least, if the idea of this so-called 'representative democracy' is to be in any way democratic, or representative.
