Critical Race Theory! ? For those who don’t know, Critical Race Theory or CRT is the premise that race is not a natural feature, but a culturally invented category used to oppress and exploit people of color. ? Should this be taught to our middle schoolers and high schoolers? The conversation starts out about that…but inevitably leads to a conversation about power. ✊ If students are taught at an early age that the color of their skin determines their outcomes regardless of their efforts...what kind of adult does this produce? ? Right now, concerned parents are embroiled in conflicts with school boards from Virginia to Texas because the Board wants to teach students more progressive ideals like Critical Race Theory (CRT). Do you think that’s a problem? Is it acceptable?
