Dr. Richard Sztramko practices Geriatric and Internal Medicine at St. Peter’s and Juravinski Hospitals in Hamilton, Ontario. He is an Assistant Professor at McMaster University. He is the co- founder of Arya EHR (Electronic Health Record) and Handover, a cutting-edge health tech company rapidly expanding throughout Canada in hospitals and outpatient clinics. He has served as the Chief Medical Officer of a publicly traded remote chronic disease management company called Reliq Health TSX: V (RHT), and currently consults for US-based Soteria Health. He co-founded a multiple award winning online education platform called www.igericare.ca to help caregivers of patients with dementia improve caregiver self-efficacy. ARYA HEALTH OVERVIEW: Our three founders completed their medical residency together and all came to the same realization; the current EMRs on the market are dated, hard to navigate and not very accessible outside of the clinic. Without any better solutions on the market, we decided to build a new EMR, one designed by doctors for doctors. PRODUCT OVERVIEW: Arya EHR has been in development since 2018 and officially launched in January 2020. The platform was design by physicians, for physicians. We have workflows that are designed to be simple and intuitive to navigate (unlike other EMRs in the space). We have all the features built into the platform that you need so you don't need to navigate outside of the EMR. This include telehealth, efax, online appointment bookings, sms patient reminders, eprescriptions, ebilling, scheduling, tasks, results and much more.
