When we treat life like a competition we become obsessed with keeping score. Winning at all costs becomes the goal because losing is unacceptable. But life isn’t a game, it’s a garden. It’s the place where God wants to cultivate beauty and fruitfulness. Gardens are messy work but the results are glorious. In this series, The Fruitful Life, we will be exploring the character of the Father as revealed by Jesus through the Fruit of the Spirit. This fruit becomes activated in our life by abiding in union with Jesus. It is our connection, not our effort that makes life fruitful. We will also look at some of the enemies of the fruitful life that keep us from becoming more like Jesus. The great news is that we have an amazing gardener in the Holy Spirit!
