Too often we are full and content with things or people, which leaves the soul empty of delight in God. Therefore, we need to learn the lost of art of developing a heart that is both satisfied and unsatisfied at the same time. Yes, we are to be content with what we are given, but we must never be content with our spiritual development. This kind of discontentment motivates us to hunger and thirst for more of Christ, and is very holy and necessary.
