Recently the statue of the angel Moroni lost its trumpet during a  5.7 earthquake.  I believe this is a sign that God is silencing the voice of false gods. I can't help but think of certain events that took place in scripture where idols were confronted by God. 1 Samual  5:3, the statue of Dagon fell on its face in the presence of the Ark. Paul the apostle confronted the gods of Ephesus (Acts 19). Daniel refused to bow down to the statue Nebuchadnezzar built. We are in a time where false gods are being overthrown and confronted by the Spirit of God. The Prophet Elijah is a picture of the Prophetic Nation that is emerging. This Prophetic Nation will confront the idols of culture and restore true worship back into the heart of believers. Elijah came on the scene during a dark time of Israel's history. During that time there was a mixture of worship to Baal and worship to Yahweh. Elijah's name means "My God is Yahweh." Elijah was being true to his very core in his righteous indignation to restore worship back to Yahweh. Elijah confronted 600 prophets of Baal during a "who's God will answer showdown." Elijah called the prophets out along with their god. "Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD. The god who answers by fire--he is God." Then all the people said, "What you say is good (1 Kings 18:24 NIV)." In this historic showdown, Elijah proved that Yahweh was the One true God. There will be showdowns in the coming days surrounding worship. Who will we worship? Will we worship the gods of gold, silver, entertainment, or the world? Or will we return to worship Yahweh in Spirit and in Truth? The Holy Spirit is shaking our nation and restoring true worship in the hearts of believers. The Elijahs that are emerging, the Prophetic Nation, will be used by God to confront the idols of our day and prove that there is only one true living God and He alone is worthy of our worship. #propheticnationnews #elijahprophets
