In this episode of the EMEA Recruitment podcast, we spoke to Sandrine van den Oudenhoven, a career coach based in Switzerland. “The only thing you can and should focus on is being fully present.” Sandrine has a mathematical background, having started her professional life as an engineer. After only a short period of time, she realised that she wanted to get closer to where things were really happening, so moved into a more commercial sales job. After growing into leadership functions, Sandrine found that this didn’t fit into her life or the person she had become, so she re-invented her career. Sandrine speaks to our Founder, Paul Toms, about taking this risk and meeting the person that aligned everything in her life. It’s something that she takes into her role as a career coach. Sandrine supports partners of those that have moved to Switzerland for work, ensuring that different people’s aspirations are considered. After a chance encounter in Rome, Sandrine is passionate about entering a room full of people you don’t know, as you never know who you might meet. It’s strong personal relationships that not only led Sandrine into her current career, but shape her business today.
