Welcome to the LOST EPISODE! When we switched over to our new host, Libsyn, we somehow lost this one, which was so sad, because it was our first episode, and it had SO MUCH good content for voice over artists about getting into the voice over world. But Scott found it in an archive. So here you have it. This episode is about getting started: how difficult it can be, experiences we're scared of encountering, and how to push through the fear and finally get started. We believe that to learn something, you need to know more than just technical info. Voice over is technical, and also an art. Learning from others' experiences can be a tremendous help to your career. In this series we're going to give you technical help, tips about the business, and motivation to get out there and do your art. And we'll share lots of our own experiences. Scott's been in the business as a producer/engineer since 1980. Deb's been on both sides of the glass, as voice over artist, and in music engineering, since 2006. We can save you a lot of time with all the life lessons we've encountered in the creative professions! So Let's get started!
