Laxmi Hussain is a Londoner, Visual Artist and a mother. Her work is now mainly focusing on the colour blue which she uses to explore the woman’s body in a very raw and honest way. I am very happy to introduce you to Laxmi, if you don’t already know her, as she is an important figure in my journey as an Illustrator. Back in early 2016, discovering her simple and powerful drawings on Instagram gave me the courage to start sharing mine as well, through “100 drawing a day challenge”. Overtime my portfolio developped and my career as an Illustrator started. I hope you’ll be as inspired by her as I am.
