The World Cup is over and France came out on top in a stunning 4-2 victory over Croatia, winning a jaw-dropping $38M in cash prizes and the World Cup trophy, estimated to be worth about $20M. Croatia didn’t do too shabby either, walking away with a respectable $28M in cash. That got me to thinking, what would happen if every team who played (even the ones who didn’t win) walked away with a trophy and equal prize money?
