In this episode, two of the Sol Women (Cal + Mar) interview an amazing community leader in the mental health world; the lovely Amy K. Among many things, Amy is the CEO and creator of the event production company “Beautiful Bipolar.” She curates healing, mental health, and wellness events that bring resources, peace, and support to the local community of New Orleans and surrounding areas. This warrior of a human believes that community care IS self-care and that we all have the potential to be more caring and compassionate towards ourselves and others. The SW talk with Amy about her past as a photography student, a well-known sports journalist for ESPN, as well as what led her to pursue a path in wellness, and what her mental health journey has looked like this far.
