In this special "Not So Texas" episode I recap the first part of my 2019 Archery Elk hunt in Colorado. My hunting partner and I describe our day by day experiences and challenges in the back country during the September elk hunt. This was first time attempting to record in the field and had some technical difficulties so excuse the audio quality. Unfortunately, this episode got cut short due to batteries dying on me but it actually stopped at a good breaking point in the story, so stay tuned for Part 2. Since this is mostly a recap of my hunt, I do plan to do a separate podcast at another time about gear used and lessons learned from the hunt.
