Marisa Bernstein is the Program Manager for Code For Canada, a national non-profit that serves as the connective tissue between government innovators and the tech community. Previously, Marisa worked in landscape architecture and urban planning at organizations like Space2Place, Terraplan Landscape Architects, and the City of Toronto. She co-founded Projexity, which offers digital tools to create, manage, and showcase social impact projects. Marisa has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Delaware, and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Marisa talks about embracing non-linear career paths, designing products for vulnerable communities, and considering mission-driven tech-centric non-profits.
