In today's episode, Jason talks with Dr. Jameson Browder. Jameson has been teaching in SC public schools for 16 years, 10 of those years have been in a kindergarten classroom. He recently earned a Ph.D. in Teaching & Learning from the University of South Carolina. He has been named the 2020 Richland County Soil and Water Conservation District's 'Conservation Teacher of the Year.' In the conversation, Jamie talks about how he incorporates conservation into his teaching and why it is important to teach conservation to young students. Jamie also tells of the challenges teachers face implementing conservation and how to encourage families to participate.
