We are introducing a new version of the show this week called Track by Track. Instead of covering a musician's entire career, we will spend our time doing a deep dive into one album that they have made. We will cover everything from where it was recorded, who engineered, tracked, mixed, and mastered it, who played what instruments, how the songs were written and constructed, and what the tracks mean to the artists who made them. My first guest on Track by Track is my old friend Brandon O'Brien. Together, we will deconstruct his band's self titled EP, Chemical X.
