GENup is a California based, statewide student-led social justice organization and student-activist coalition that strives to advocate for education through the power of youth voices. GENup was also selected by the XQ Institute to vet students who were featured on the national television special on ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, #GraduateTogether, featuring performances from internationally-known artists and speakers such as President Obama and LeBron James. In the greater Bay Area, GENup has cultivated partnerships with teacher unions and educational policy drivers to spread their mission.
