In my latest book, there is a character who is a victim of marital rape. After going through a disconcerting life, she demands to criminalize marital rape. A couple of my friends read this book. They are not ready to believe the whole concept of marital rape. They argued with me. Most of them oppose criminalizing marital rape. Let’s discuss why Marital Rape is not a crime in India.
