What role will VR play in the future of Construction? Is it a hype or does it bring real value? Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality, you hear the words buzz everywhere. Facebook bought the VR system Oculus for billions of dollars. Everyone agrees that you get a much better understanding of a built asset, e.g. a building, if you immerse yourself in VR to study it, in comparison with just looking at a 2D drawing. But what does the workflow look like with VR, and when do you get the most benefit out of it? In order to find out, we invited Aleksander Langmyhr from the Norwegian VR start-up Dimension 10 and self declared BIMfluencer Fredrik Holm from Asplan Viak, one of the major Norwegian engineering advisor and planning companies.
