Classes are new and exciting, sports try-outs are in full swing, and even teachers' weird quirks seem interesting, and there isn't much homework....yet. But we all know that this "honeymoon stage" wears off, the homework piles up, and then we're in the middle of the grind. Some kids handle this better than others. (Most Moms start working with me in October because that's when they get worried about their kids).
