Episode #140 of Onstage/Offstage: Royal Shiree's new work is "Lamentations"; a powerful work that addresses America's tragic history of racism. Incorporating movement pieces as well as narrative, "Lamentations" illustrates the immoral societal and religious basis of racism in the United States while reaching for a new form of historical education centered in hearing the voces of those heretofore suppressed.
