On this episode of the Drink Local Podcast we enjoyed brews from Boomtown, Shipyard and Crowns & Hops while discussing marginalized groups and activism in the craft beer community. We had a lot of fun talking intersectionality, sharing our experiences and listing some great Black, Gay and Latinx breweries. During ‘What Made You Wanna Drink?’ Misa talked about sewing and William talked about people not wearing face masks. Finally, in ‘Questions’ we answered what type of cause we would dedicate a beer to and what type of beer it would be!The Links4 Latino-Owned Breweries in the United States You Should Know60+ Black-Owned Breweries to Support Across the CountryHillcrest Brewing Company The first gay brewery in the worldThe Drinking Partners PodcastFresh Fest Digi Fest America's First Black (Digital) Beer Festival The BeersBPLB (Black & Brown People Love Beer) by Crowns & Hops (Hazy IPA)Bad Hombre by Boomtown Brewery (Mexican-Style Lager)Hoppy Pride IPA by Shipyard Brewing (IPA)
