Sometimes you have a conversation with a student that is GOLD and you just know you have to share it. One of my biggest strategies for helping my students get a 7+ band score is working on brainstorming. This week, as I was giving feedback on an essay to a student, we got into a discussion about how helpful brainstorming is to getting a 7 and I just had to share.
