Episode 24 introduces Aws. After few hard years living under the American invasion of Baghdad, Aws and his family fled Iraq and faced new struggles as refugees in Turkey. The life of a refugee is often one of hopelessness and despair. However, Aws decided to do something amazing with his situation and despite some dangerous situations and even worse possibilities, he has dedicated the last five years of working to help refugees and LGBTQ refugees in Istanbul.
