GracePointe Church '167' Podcast

Religion & Spirituality

Join us as we interview Rob Hilderbrand, a hockey-loving Canadian who has been a staple in the Northwest as a leader in youth and college ministry as well as a as a Program chair and Assistant Dean at Multnomah University. Rob and his wife, Leslie, have spent their lives working with young people. For more than three decades they have led classes, youth groups, camps, retreats, mission trips and study abroad programs with thousands of students. Having seen the incredible life change that can happen on these trips, and the incredible growth that students can experience learning in community, they began college level educational trips in 2005. Fast forward to now and they are embarking on a new adventure! Rob explains how the Loire Valley Study Abroad is a Christian community of learning that educates and holistically disciples students through Biblical instruction, faculty mentorship, classroom interaction, and study abroad in France.  What an awesome idea!  Listen in as we talk with Rob about what it actually looks like to act on what God is prompting.  While not as cut and dry as some made for tv Christian movies might indicate, walking by faith with all the decisions is a scary, complicate, and beautiful process that reveals just how good God is! This won't be the last time we hear from Rob!    As always thanks for listening.  We are excited about the role the podcast has played in your life and we can't wait to bring you more episodes in 2020.
