You guys remember rap videos from the late 90s/early 00s? Everyone seemed like they had a Hollywood director back then since the labels were giving the bag for production. Now, a kid shoots a video in his mom's backyard for free pretty much and edits it himself on his laptop. Times have changed drastically and the artist must find other ways to get his face out there to the public. Next, Kal and Mansa began reminiscing about some childhood memories growing up in the South Seattle vicinity. Kal remembers a time when he took a school trip at his coach's house and how weird it made him feel to see how white people were living in their homes for the first time. Mansa was wondering why the average young American support black entertainers that push a negative stereotype all the time. It's either that or the black entertainer is forced to 'separate the blackness' from his personality (Terry Crews, Don Lemon etc.).
