In August of 2018, then 15-year-old Greta Thunberg started striking outside Swedish Parliament, demanding stronger action on climate change. A year later, her global notoriety has inspired millions of young people around the world to take similar action, including in Australia, really showcasing the power of youth. Episode 4 of our podcast, we speak to Daisy and Viv, two of the masterminds behind some of the strikes happening in Australia. We ask them about what motivates them, what challenges they have faced and their response to some of the criticism that has been directed their way as well as the imperative importance of stronger climate action in this country.
