Welcome to Episode 40 of this thing we call the High On Sports Podcast! We can't believe we have done 40 episodes, but we have and we are proud to bring it to you for you to listen and have fun with us. In this episode we talk a lot about the tragedy that happened last Sunday, the Super Bowl and just other sports and non-sports topics. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we like recording these shows. Remember, we aren't the worst sports podcast you'll ever hear...but we're close! Segment 1: We talk about the helicopter crash that took the life of NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and 7 others last Sunday. We talk about Lobe and his basketball career, his post NBA career and his life all around. He wasn't a perfect person but he was a husband, a father, and a son that lost his life way too soon. Segment 2: We talk about Super Bowl 54 that happens this coming Sunday in Miami. Willie talks about some of the prop bets you can make that are game and not-game related. We also make our predictions on who we think will win the game. Segment 3: It's our free-for-all segment where we talk a little bit of everything. We talk about the Predators and hockey in general, and we talk about a bunch of other things; some have to do with sports and some things don't. Again, we thank all of you who listen to our little show. We aren't trying to be professionals. Basically it's what you would hear if the three of us were sitting around having a drink or lunch and talking about different sports topics. We do have a lot of fun doing this and hope to continue for another 40 episodes at least.
