Our guest is Sam Tallent, a very funny comedian, turned author. I heard about Sam's book "Running the Light" from several well-respected comedians and being a comedian myself I knew I had to check it out. Sam does an amazing job capturing the ups and downs (and in this book it's mainly the downs) of doing stand up comedy on the road. I read the book in two days and once I finished I knew I wanted to have Sam on the podcast. We discuss the book, his writing style, his comedy and the main character Billy Ray Schafer. This is a great episode for any aspiring author for how to get started and more importantly how to finish that novel we all want to write.
