Often it's the ones we love most who disappoint us the most. Everyone falls short of their greatest hopes for themselves we are imperfect, and the country we love is made up of imperfect people. Yet that doesn't mean we should be absolved from accountability. After all we are the nation that is "for the people and by the people". Why is it that we the people are now viewing one another as enemies, rather than fellow patriots with different opinions on how to help America reach Her highest calling? Why are today's debates not based on truth and reason, but rather based the inflamed passions about relatively irrelevant topics and political talking points with little to no merit? How is it that what was once viewed as the greatest country in the world, is possibly more divided now than in times past? The SLMASP crew get together in this episode and offer our opinions on the matter.
