The Union Budget 2020 presented by our Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, did not meet most peoples expectations. It was hoped that the budget would attempt to revive the declining growth rate of our GDP, but the biggest announcements were a small cut in income taxes and disinvestment of LIC. Dalal street also reacted negatively towards the budget, with the BSE sensex falling by almost 1,000 points
